Great BBQ again
If ya been there, try it again. They have updated the location and the BBQ is still great. getting bigger and still keeping the personal touch !!!!
I have enjoyed BBQ all my life and am very glad that Frank and Debbie opened this restaurant. This is great BBQ and is highlighted by their wonderful choices of a variety of sauces. You will not regret making the trip to Hochston to try this place and will make return visits. The converted house gives it the right atmosphere to enjoy eating BBQ right from the grill.
Thanks Frank,

What can I say about you, T_O_B_D ? You were the one that got us started with the THS crowd. Thank you for being one of our best "cheerleaders." Debbie and I are glad that we opened our small restaurant, also, but are also glad that we're moving to a larger place. The smoker will still be right beside the building, and the meat will come right out of the smoker to the kitchen to be pulled...Thanks T_O_B_D....We love you....Debbie and Frank

Great BBQ
I picked up a plate to go on Friday and I have to agree with most other reviews, the bbq pork was delicious. I also loved the hot sauce, however I would have liked a little more to go with the enormous portion of pork on the plate, and the potato salad was also delicious. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Excellent BBQ
I had heard from others that Frank's BBQ was great so we went and checked it out. It was beyond great, it was superb. The pulled pork was the best I have ever had--simply superb!! The brunswick stew was so good we had to bring home a half gallon of the stuff to go with the 2 pounds of pulled pork we also brought home to eat over the weekend. All of the sauces were excellent but we really liked the Carolina Yellow and the Vinegar sauces--brought home a bottle of each. I'm sure we will be stopping in whenever we travel up I-85 north of Atlanta.
Many thanks to Debra and Frank for the superb food and hospitality.

Small place with excellent BBQ
Traveling thru a small town in northeast Georgia the other day I stopped in for lunch at this BBQ place that is run out of a converted old house. Nice atmosphere and the BBQ was very tasty.. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and they really filled the bun up with with delicious BBQ covered with a delightful sauce. And it is reasonably priced for a lunch menu. Make a trip to Hoschton, Ga and say hi to Frank and Debbie sometime soon..

Thanks for stopping by BBQatic! We ALWAYS make sure there is at least enough meat to cover the bun...Reminds me of a guy that was in a few weeks ago. Yelled across our expansive dining room (those of you that have been there KNOW that's a lie...LOL), Frank, next time could you put more meat on my sandwich? I told him that he would remember us for putting too much meat long before he'd remember us for putting too little meat....I'm not sure who you are BBQatic, but thanks for posting!! Frank

Best I've ever had!!!
The bbq was mouth watering and moist, with homemade sauces of different kinds. The brunswick stew was to die for. Best I have had
since my Grandmothers. And that fried corn, oh man. You gotta check this little hole in the wall out.

As Good as my Aunt and Uncle's used to be......
I have been to Frank's on several occasions. If I am anywhere near Hwy 53, I take it to Frank's for BBQ. He has the best Brunswick stew I have tasted in recent years! My Aunt made the best I ever had, and Frank's runs a VERY close second! His BBQ is moist and tasty. His sauces are excellent, although I haven't been brave enough to try the hottest one yet. I look forward to heading up I-85 or I-985 do I can detour to Frank's for lunch! Over the years, I have lost my taste for peach cobbler due to some bad experiences, but Frank's is getting my taste buds re-activated! His location isn't always the easiest to find, but call ahead and he will give you great directions from where ever you are!

Thanks, gum_ball....you need to get to Hwy 53 more often. I've missed seeing you and your lovely wife. The hottest sauce won't hurt you, its a "good" hot....sneaks up on you. The peach cobbler is my M-I-L's recipe, and we're proud of it. Thanks again.
